Interact with it to obtain Snow Fox Brush item, which will allow you to transform into a fox. Next you will need to reach New Thunderclap Temple and find Non-Void. When you approach him in fox form, he will turn hostile and can be defeated. After that, return to the fox body in Forest of Felicity and interact with it.
