Return of Rivals is a boss mode in Black Myth: Wukong. Accessed from Keeper's Shrine's Challenge, players can challenge a former opponent to a duel. If an opponent has not yet been defeated in the game, that opponent won't be available for a challenge.
Difficulty[]
Each duel offers three difficulties: "Pilgrim" (Easy), "Young Sage" (Normal), and "Great Sage" (Hard).
- Pilgrim: Confront your old rivals, fierce as when you first met them. Fight them to hone your skills!
- Young Sage: Face the opponents less tolerant and more sturdy. A single misstep may claim your precious life.
- Great Sage: The challenge is immense! Yet, the Great Sage will always prevail.
Statistics[]
At the end of the battle, players are given statistics of the fight. Showing their Character Level, Attack, Health, Stamina, Mana, the Total Damage Dealt, The Highest Damage Dealt in one Attack, the Critical Damage Dealt, the Damage Over Time, Total Damage Taken, number of Medicine Used, number of Gourd Uses, Perfect Dodges performed, Seen-Throughs performed, 4-Focus-Points Attacks, and number and type of each used spell, relic and spirit.
