Meditation Spot

Meditation Spots are a collectable in Black Myth: Wukong. Meditating at the specified spots earns Sparks. In new cycles (New Game +), rather than a guaranteed spark, if you have already used the meditation spot in a previous cycle you will instead gain a set amount of experience. This amount can guarantee a level/spark in the first new cycle, but falls off in later cycles as your experience needs increase exponentially with your level.

Black Wind Mountain[]

There are three meditation spots in Black Wind Mountain:

  1. The Arbor, Forest of Wolves: Located right before the Forest of Wolves' Outside the Forest Shrine. From the shrine, turn back and exit the cave. The meditation spot will be just right ahead at the edge.
  2. The Cavern, Bamboo Groove: Located right after Bamboo Grove's Back Hills Shrine. Continue forward and upon seeing the first enemy, turn left. You will enter a cave, where you can also find a Horse guai. The meditation spot is right in the middle.
  3. The Cliff, Black Wind Cave: Located right before reaching Black Wind Cave's Cave Interior Shrine. From the Whiteclad Noble go into the cave behind him. After defeating the first enemy you encounter, you can go on right to continue into the cave, or continue forward to a wooden platform. The meditation spot is right there.

Yellow Wind Ridge[]

  1. The Altar, Sandgate Village: Located in the Village Entrance area. From the Shrine, head ahead and down, then continue forward. At the end you can see shallow water down with Lang-Li-Guhh-Baw waiting. Turn left and you can see a bell-like building in the distance. The meditation spot is right in front of it.
  2. The Ravine, Rock Clash Platform: Located in Fright Cliff's Rock Clash Platform. From the Shrine, continue the path and you will see it right ahead near the end. A blue shining Rat Governor is there.
  3. The Sculpture, Crouching Tiger Temple: Located in Crouching Tiger Temple's Temple Entrance area. From the Shrine, head upstairs and take the second left (before going outside).
  4. The Deadwood, Rockrest Flat: Located in Fright Cliff's Rockrest Flat. From the Shrine head straight ahead and past the Spearbone enemy. You will reach a big wide area with a drunk boar sitting in the middle. Continue until its other end and you will see the spot next to a tree.
  5. The Grotto, Yellow Wind Formation: Located in Yellow Wind Formation's Windseal Gate. From the Shrine, open the big gate and head down, then turn left and go all the way to a dead end. Alternatively from Crouching Tiger Temple's Cellar, go down and turn left, then go all the way to the end.
  6. The Rock, Sandgate Bound: Located in Kingdom of Sahali. From Sandgate Bound Shrine, turn left and go all the way to the back. At the end it will be on the right side on the edge, before going down the sands.

The New West[]

  1. The Shade, Mirrormere: Located in the Mirrormere area (the big frozen lake). From the Shrine, head a bit to the left and you will see a big leaning tree in front of the frozen lake. The meditation spot is next to it.
  2. The Bottom, Pagoda Realm: Located in the Outside the Wheel area. From the Shrine, head through the cave, away from the Pagoda, until you are outside. Once outside, there will be a table with a pill on the right. Go behind the pill (the fence is breakable) and continue the path until the end. The spot will be in front of a tree.
  3. The Statue, Precept Corridor: Located in the Precept Corridor area. From the Shrine, just go straight ahead and you will right away encounter some enemies. The meditation spot is on the left side.
  4. The Track, Mindfulness Cliff: Located in the Mindfulness Cliff area. From the Shrine, just keep following the path. Its in the same are where you fight Non-White a second time.
  5. The Hall, New Thunderclap Temple: Located in the New Thunderclap Temple. From the Temple Entrance Shrine, go forward and pass through the building. Then go up the left staircase. At the top, turn right and continue going forward. After a while there will be a wide staircases with two Dark-faced Overlords waiting at the top. Turn right and at the end, there will be a building with Non-Pure. The meditation spot is right under Non-Pure.

The Webbed Hollow[]

  1. The Carvings, Pool of Shattered Jade: Located in Pool of Shattered Jade, from Upper Hollow Shrine, proceed forward and you will face a Grasshopper Guai coming out of a cocoon. Up ahead in front of a big hole, will be a Dragonfly Guai shooting at you. From your side of the hole, you can see the right side being lit up and has wooden plans. Jump down from there and then keep following the path. After a while, you will reach a Scorpion Prince in a more open area. Continue forward and uphill, and you will read a wide area with a meditation spot in the middle. The Pool of Shattered Jade Shrine is here as well, if you have unlocked it, just turn around and you will see the meditation spot in the middle.
  2. The Tree, Middle of the Hollow: Located in Middle Hollow, from the Shrine, turn around and be straight ahead on the other end.
  3. Cave Depths, Lower Hollow: Located in Lower Hollow, from the Shrine, turn back past the cocoons. On the left side of the wall, there will be a crack. Go though it and go directly straight upstairs. The meditation spot will be there.
  4. The Height, Forest of Ferocity: Located in Forest of Ferocity, from the Shrine, turn left and it will be on the edge at the end of the path.
  5. The Pines, Temple of Yellow Flowers: Located in Temple Entrance, from the Shrine, continue going up the stairs. As you pass through a small gate, turn right and on the right wall, there will be another gate. The area after this gate will be full of Worm Practitioner. The meditation spot is on the left, next to the trees.
  6. The Ledge, Purple Cloud Mountain: Located in Petalfall Hamlet, from the shrine, turn right and continue following the path. After passing past a Fly-Whisk Daoist, there will be a Lushleaf on the left and a Dragonfly Guai shooting you from a bridge above. Continue under the bridge and turn left right away. There will be a path leading up to the bridge. Now cross the bridge and on the left corner after the bridge, you can find the meditation spot.

Flaming Mountains[]

  1. The Relief, Camp of Seasons: Located in Camp of Seasons, from the Shrine, continue ahead and cross the bridge. Right after that you enter a cave tunnel. After you exit, you will take a left and enter another tunnel. After is a wooden bridge. Right after the bridge, take a right and go up the stairs. At the top, the meditation spot will be on a small wooden platform.
  2. The Buddha, The Emerald Hall: Located in The Emerald Hall, from the Shrine, go upstairs and turn left and follow the path until the end. The meditation spot will be at the end. If you go too far after going upstairs at the beginning, a fight with Keeper of the Flaming Mountains will start and you can get the spot after the fight.
  3. The Crag, Ashen Pass III: Located in Ashen Pass III, on the right side of the shrine, there is a path to a small area. On the right side of that area on the edge, you can find the meditation spot.
  4. The Screen, Purge Pit: Located in Purge Pit, with your back at the Shrine, take the right path and the spot will be at the end of that path.
